20W TO-220 Planar Thick Film, Non-inductive Power Resistor

This product features a TO-220 package (enhanced ceramic substrate version). Instead of using a metal flange baseplate, it undergoes direct mold encapsulation, thereby maximizing the effective area of the ceramic substrate (as well as the corresponding effective area of the resistive film layer). This results in a resistor with robust pulse power handling capabilities. Due to the direct exposure of the ceramic substrate, its thermal dissipation performance is generally equivalent to that of a product with a metal flange baseplate, offering similar rated power while exhibiting superior pulse power handling performance.


● Rated power of 30W at a baseplate center temperature of ≤25°C
● Standard TO-220 mold-encapsulated package with exposed ceramic substrate
● Baseplate secured by M3 screws
● Standard lead configuration for easy installation and resistor packaging
● Fully insulated from the heatsink


  1. Resistance range: 0.2Ω~1MΩ

  2. Resistance accuracy: ±1%~±10% (±0.5% can be produced according to requirements)

  3. Temperature coefficient: Can achieve up to ±50ppm/°C (25°C~105°C)

  4. Rated power: Rated power is 30W, maximum operating voltage is 420VDC

  5. Dielectric withstand voltage: 1,800VAC

  6. Insulation resistance: Minimum 10GΩ

  7. Instantaneous overload: Twice the rated power, but not exceeding 1.5 times the maximum continuous operating voltage, for 5 consecutive seconds, ΔR≤±(0.3%R + 0.001Ω)

  8. Power durability: Rated power for 2,000 hours, MIL - R - 39009, ΔR≤±(1.0%R + 0.001Ω)

  9. Moisture resistance: MIL - Std - 202, method 106, ΔR≤±(0.5%R + 0.001Ω)

  10. Thermal shock: MIL - Std - 202, method 107, condition F, ΔR≤±(0.3%R + 0.001Ω)

  11. Terminal strength: MIL - Std - 202, method 211, condition A, tensile test 2.4 Newtons, ΔR≤±(0.2%R + 0.001Ω)

  13. Operating temperature range: -55°C~+150°C
