Anti-Surge Wire Wound MELF Resistors

The surge-protected wirewound MELF resistor boasts a rated power range of 1W to 4W and a resistance span from 1 Ohm to 1.2K Ohm, with tolerances of ±1%, ±2%, and ±5%. It is designed for applications requiring high surge current protection, such as power capacitors, motor starting protection, electric vehicles, and renewable energy storage systems. By absorbing harmful surge energy, it effectively guards against the risk of circuit damage caused by surge energy.

Thanks to its MELF-style SMD structure, it offers superior heat dissipation compared to chip resistors and possesses a stronger mechanical structure capable of enduring vibrations and thermal shocks. The electrodes have been enhanced for more reliable welding, safeguarding against the impacts of surges.

Our products comply with RoHS requirements and are free from substances of very high concern (SVHCs) identified by the European Chemicals Agency. They are also certified for sulfur resistance and AEC-Q200 compliance.
